Budget Plans

Budget Plans are a great solution if you want to manage heating costs without the worry of large seasonal bills. Here’s why:

  • No Fees: There’s no enrollment or sign-up fee, making it easy to get started.
  • Predictable Payments: We estimate your total annual oil usage, divide the cost by the expected cost per gallon for the year, and spread that total over 10 months (May-June start). Payments are due by the 15th of each month.
  • Convenience: With automatic payment and delivery, you only need to worry about renewing your plan each spring. It’s that simple.
HEAP (Home Energy Assistance Program)

HEAP (Home Energy Assistance Program) is a federally funded program to assist low-income households in meeting their heating needs. HEAP is administered by local Social Services and supervised by the New York State Office of Temporary and Disability Assistance (OTDA). HEAP is a seasonal program, with regular and emergency benefits and has funds for equipment replacement and repair. Applicants must meet HEAP’s eligibility requirements.

CHEAP OIL does not administer the HEAP program and has no influence upon eligibility and/or receipt of benefits. CHEAP OIL is a Service Provider and services will be provided upon receipt of confirmation from the corresponding HEAP office for grant of benefits.

Please contact the following administrative offices to apply for benefits if you feel you are eligible and in need:
